The Step-By-Step Guide to Confirmation
Confirmation deepens our baptismal life that calls us to be missionary witnesses of Jesus Christ in our families, neighborhoods, society, and the world. . . . We receive the message of faith in a deeper and more intensive manner with great emphasis given to the person of Jesus Christ, who asked the Father to give the Holy Spirit to the Church for building up the community in loving service.

Step 1: Register
Confirmation at St. Charles is open to juniors and seniors.
Did you register for the Confirmation Process this year? If yes, then continue on to Step Two.
Please note, for the reception of Confirmation in Spring 2027, the registration deadline was October 1, 2026.
Step 2: Attend the Orientation
Students are asked to attend with at least one parent or guardian.
Attend the Confirmation Parent Meeting on Sunday, September 20th at 7pm in the Borromeo Hall.
Step 3: Choose a Sponsor
Please start praying about and selecting a sponsor. You will need to have your sponsor selected earlier in the process so they can begin to meet with you.
How do I choose a sponsor? Please read the requirements below.
The Church asks that all sponsors meet the following requirements:
1. Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
2. Must have received the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation; and if applicable, have a valid marriage within the Church).
3. Must be an active Catholic, living in harmony with the teachings of the Church.
4. Must not be the parent or step-parent of the Confirmation candidate.
5. Only one sponsor per candidate.
Step 4: Mark Your Calendars!
Confirmation will take place on April 30, 2027 at 7:00 pm in our church.
