Leading Teens Closer to Christ
Life Teen is a dynamic Catholic high school ministry program for teens. We frequently host Life Nights, an event open to all high school teens, including talks on Catholic teachings, playing games, small group discussion, and prayer experiences. All teens are welcome to participate in an enriching experience to build deep connections and embark on a journey to grow closer to Christ.
At Lake Country Life Teen, our mission is to invite young people to meet, know, love, and serve Christ. We believe that the typical “CCD” or “religious education” provided at most parishes, while helpful and formative, often do not meet a young person’s thirst for an encounter with the Person of Jesus Christ and do not help foster a living relationship with God. We strive to provide the opportunity for young people to meet, know, love and serve Christ through our simple discipleship process (see below). This process includes a bunch of fun and engaging Eucharistic-centered relational ministries.
Summer Event:
Cookout & Blessing for Graduated Seniors | August 2 | 11:00AM
All recent high school graduating seniors are invited! Come to receive a blessing and celebrate your recent graduation (for those attending college or entering the workforce). There will be a cookout and a blessing to follow at the rectory. You are encouraged to bring a lawn chair!
