About & New Format
A Bold New Format
This year’s gala reimagines the traditional ballroom experience. The entire Delafield Hotel and its renowned Restaurant I.D. will turn into an immersive "Roman Holiday" based off the Audrey Hepburn flick. Rather than a sit-down dinner, guests will experience custom Italian food and drink stations spread throughout the hotel, I.D., and the ballroom, a dedicated program and, for the first time ever, an exclusive post event reception.
Your Passport Awaits
Collect stamps among the stations throughout the evening in your Gala Passport to earn raffle tickets for a chance to win a series of prizes released in January while mingling with fellow guests in La Dolce Vita fashion.
The Palazzo Pass- VIP Experience
Become a sponsor or purchase VIP tickets where you get to kick off the evening with a Private Reception (5–6 PM) featuring a signature cocktail, exclusive access to the first food stations, and early entry to the Vespa Experience photo backdrop. End the night with the exclusive post-event gathering at I.D., complete with music.

Think Mediterranean vacation chic meets Audrey Hepburn glamour — a stylish yacht party on the Amalfi Coast. Gentlemen: opt for lightweight suits, crisp linen, or refined summer evening wear.

Support our beloved parish and school! The Live & Silent Auction returns to this year’s Gala, and your donated items, packages, or experiences make a real difference. Guests will bid on everything from fine dining and elegant getaways to handcrafted treasures and family adventures—generously provided by parishioners and local businesses.

What is a Buy-In Party?
Rome Awaits: Buy-In and Celebrate! Support our students by hosting or co-hosting a buy-in party at this year’s Roman Holiday Gala auction. Past buy-in experiences included: boat cruises, BBQs, wine dinners, pedal taverns, and pool parties. Hosts fund and design their unique event while guests “buy-in” to attend with all proceeds benefiting St. Charles. Help create lasting memories that sustain our mission.
