Our St. Charles Outreach Services Team meets quarterly to bring together volunteers of all ages to engage in projects that better the living, learning, and general conditions of all. Serving Meals In & Out of Hartland
Once a month, St. Charles Parish is the host for a free community meal for seniors and others. Volunteers are needed to greet people as they enter, serve refreshments, wash dishes, set-up and tear-down the event.
Times: Various times and duties from 3-7 pm
Located in downtown City of Waukesha, the Hope Center serves meals to those barely getting by with little or no income. Some attendees are homeless and are out on the street or in a shelter. Monthly our Outreach Group serves and cleans up after a meal. If you would like to assist please register below. NEW LOCATION: The Hope Center is located 101 W. Broadway (the old Chase Bank Building), Waukesha.
We have increased our partnership role with this program serving men, women and families who are homeless in the Waukesha County area.
We prepare and deliver meals for two shelter locations in the City of Waukesha, Juno House for families and Sentry House for single men and women. Please help by donating 13x9 meal pans and/or delivering meals for the shelters every Monday and Friday. Partnership With St. Anthony's, Milwaukee
An opportunity to serve families at our sister Parish on the southside of Milwaukee at the Jim Luther New Hope Center (formerly St. Anthony's Food Pantry). Donations and serving happen weekly.
Helps to collect lightly used prom dresses and First Communion apparel.
Additional Opportunities
Follow Jesus and clothe the naked by joining our ministry on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, 10 am at St. Charles in the Borromeo Hall. Bring your yarn, knitting or crochet hook to create hats, mittens, scarves, baby items and prayer shawls for our neighbors in need.
The cookbook has over 200 recipes from fellow parishioners. It's a great way to support St. Charles Outreach Services Team and all the great ways they support and serve our community! Please contact the Parish Office to purchase a cookbook.

Our Core Team is seeking individuals with medical experience who would consider serving people in the Dominican Republic on a future mission trip. Specific needs are Geriatricians, Obstetrician-Gynecologists, Pediatricians, Physical Therapists, Ophthalmologists, Family Doctors, and Dentists. Available to serve the needs of other parishioners who may be elderly or unable to take care of the tasks that seasons demands–raking leaves, shoveling snow, etc.
Meets twice in the Fall to tag, sort, and facilitate delivery of donated gifts, food, and gift cards to families in need within our community (identified by St. Charles parishioner sponsors) at Christmas.

Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization that supports intellectual disabilities, respects the dignity of life at all stages, and supports seminarians. Throughout the year, the Knights of Columbus sponsor events such as their annual Meat Raffle and Tootsie Roll Giveaways as well as hosting the Annual Columbus Day Dinner. New men are always welcome to join the Knights of Columbus.

Respect for Life is a group that operates through the grace of the Holy Spirit, dedicated to softening hearts, changing minds, and advancing the sanctity of life from conception to natural death. The group holds many events to further the dignity of human life, including the 40 Days for Life Campaign held in the Fall and Spring, sponsoring the pink and blue flags in front of the parish in October (Respect for Life month), the Baby Bottle Campaign, Holy Hours in January, and the Mother’s Day Rose Sale.

The St. Charles SVDP Food Pantry is located on the Church grounds at 313 Circle Drive, and it is open Tuesday mornings between 10am and noon. It is also open on the second and fourth Tuesday evenings of the month between 5:30pm and 7pm. If you know of someone in need of our services, please call us at 262-367-0800. The food pantry will be closed when Arrowhead Schools close for inclement weather. It will reopen the following week, weather permitting.
To be a volunteer, we ask to be a member of St. Vincent de Paul. Adults 18+ help by donating, stocking and distributing goods at the pantry Tuesday mornings or select evenings from 5:30-7 pm.
Needs as of September 28th: cereal, fruit juice, mustard, paper towels, laundry soap
On September 25, the Church celebrated the feast of St. Vincent de Paul who knew that "God had sent him to bring good news to the poor." Together with your gifts to our general fund and the Food Pantry, the members of our Society of St. Vincent de Paul continue his work and mission in our parish community.
